ALL TO DO IN ALGOMA

WORLD CLASS CHARTER FISHING
Algoma has quietly built a reputation as one of the top sport fishing ports on the Great Lakes. The waters off this stretch of Lake Michigan hold lake trout, steelhead, chinook salmon, coho salmon, and brown trout — including several Wisconsin state records. The season runs from spring walleye through fall king salmon, with something worth chasing nearly every month of the open water season.
River's Edge works directly with a select group of Algoma and Kewaunee's best charter captains. When you book a suite with us, we can connect you with an experienced captain and handle the whole trip — lodging and charter together, so you arrive, fish, eat, sleep, and do it again. No coordinating between five different websites. No wondering if your lodging is near the marina. Just show up and fish. Have a few drinks on the boat? No problem. No need to drive back to your lodging when it's steps from the boat.
If you're bringing a large group, we can arrange multiple boats. If you've never fished Lake Michigan before, our captains will take care of you. If you're a seasoned angler chasing a specific species at a specific time of year, we'll match you with someone who knows exactly where to find them.

BEYOND FISHING

River's Edge draws more than just anglers. The Algoma and Kewaunee County area has become a genuine destination for couples and groups who want a slower pace without sacrificing quality.
Spend a morning on the water and an afternoon at Von Stiehl. Walk the Ahnapee Trail at sunset. Browse the galleries and shops downtown. Drive fifteen minutes and you're in Door County.
Come in October when the salmon are running and the fall color is peaking along the river, and you'll understand why people come back every year.
